Dr Leonie Horrigan

Changebiz was founded by Director Dr Leonie Horrigan so that she could focus her efforts and apply her expertise in psychology and business to drive sustainable growth and meaningful change for individuals and organisations alike.  

Leonie is a highly competent and experienced professional who brings deep knowledge, warmth, energy and insight to her work.  Leonie is a registered psychologist with a PhD in workplace psychology. Leonie specialises in executive, leadership, personal and career coaching, and workplace change, culture and organisational development interventions.  Leonie uses an evidence-based approach, drawing upon theory, tools and frameworks from the fields of leadership, psychology, coaching, change, management and business. As a psychologist and member of the Australian Psychological Society, Leonie brings strong integrity and ethics to her client work.  Leonie is also a member of the Association for Coaching, an international professional association and accrediting body with membership from over 70 countries worldwide. 

Leonie has extensive industry experience working across a wide variety of organisations.  She has previously held senior management positions in the higher education and state government sectors.  Leonie has also  worked previously in highly reputable and award-winning consultancy firms and co-founded and co-directed a successful management consultancy company before launching Changebiz.  Leonie is accredited in the Human Synergistics LSI, Hogan Leadership Assessments, ACT, MBTI and TMS. Leonie is focused on ensuring that  each and every client gains value and measurable success from her work with them. Leonie is a culture, gender, sexuality, neurodiversity and disability inclusive practitioner.   

In addition to her work, Leonie cherishes time with her family, which includes two teenagers, a tiny cavoodle, and a lively cockatiel. She has a passion for learning, a deep love of horses, and enjoys challenges that require both physical and mental strength. Over the years, Leonie has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, explored the art of Krav Maga, embarked on various horse-riding adventures, and relearned to swim as an adult.
